1. The purpose of the Mandir is to further, promote, sustain and support the teachings of the Hindu religion and its scriptures: The Vedas, The Bhagwat Gita, The Upanishads, The Ramayana and other religious Hindu texts.
2. To develop a closer spiritual and cultural understanding of the Hindu religion (Dharma) and to bring about peace and harmony among all peoples.
3. To recognize and celebrate cultural and religious festivals such as Ram Navami, Mahashivaratri, Janmashtami, Phagwah (Holi), Diwali (Divali, Dewali, or Deepavali), etc.
4. To plan and implement regular programs of Indian music, drama, Indian classical dance, etc., to occupy particularly, our youths.
5. To work in cooperation with other religious and cultural organizations to develop a deeper understanding of each other’s cultures.
6. By holding regular prayer meetings, discussions, seminars, etc., using especially the teaching of The Vedas, The Gita and The Ramayana as a basis for discussions.
